1) ARAGULA ROCKET

Long considered one of the healthiest and most useful natural superfoods, it adds a healthy supplement to a variety of menus. Aragula is also known as Rocket. Aragula micro-greens are flavourful with a slightly peppery twist. Its leaf resembles the oak leaf. They are a good source of folic acid, iron, copper and a variety of minerals and vitamins A, C and K.

 

2) SUNFLOWER

Sunflower micro-greens are one of the most balanced complete vegetable proteins. It consists of a sturdy stem and green leaves. Its taste is fresh and crunchy. Low in calories and high in nutrients, it is an excellent source of valuable nutrients: proteins, enzymes, folic acid, selenium, lecithin, minerals, including calcium, copper, iron, magnesium, potassium, phosphorus , zinc as well as vitamins A, C, complex D and E.

 

3) RED KOHLRABI

As part of a healthy diet, kohlrabi can help improve overall metabolism and aid with weight loss. Because kohlrabi is high in calcium and magnesium, it contributes to stronger bones. In addition to other calcium-rich food sources and weight-bearing exercise, kohlrabi can be part of strengthening bone density.

 

4) PEA SHOOTS 

Pea shoots are a great source of three chemo-protective agents: folate, antioxidants, and carotene. Folate helps produce and maintain cells and protects against DNA damage. Antioxidants help the body fight free radical damage, commonly associated with high cancer risk.

 

5) BROCCOLI RAAB

Broccoli rabe contains a variety of vitamins, including vitamin K, vitamin A, vitamin E, and vitamin C. Minerals in broccoli rabe include calcium, iron, magnesium, phosphorus, and potassium. It is also a rich source of folate which is important for healthy cell growth, making it crucial during pregnancy.

 

6) CORIANDER

Potential health benefits of cilantro include improved heart health, decreased anxiety, lower blood sugar levels, protection against oxidative stress and more. It is also low in calories but high in antioxidants along with vitamin K and vitamin A.

 

7) DAIKON RADISH

Radishes are among the most nutritionally loaded low-calorie vegetables. They provide high levels of vitamin C and also contain the active enzyme myrosinase. Daikon has antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, antiviral and diuretic properties.

 

8) MUSTARD RED GIANT

Mustard greens are rich in vitamin A, C and K which promote positive eye and heart health, anti-cancerous and possess immune-boosting properties. They are believed to further provide positive benefit from with health conditions such as heart disease, diabetes and even certain types of cancer.

 

9) MIZUNA RED FRILLS

Fresh Mizuna leaves are an excellent sources of vitamin-C. Vitamin-C (ascorbic acid) is a powerful natural antioxidant that offers protection against free radical injury and flu-like viral infections. Mizuna leaves are also incredible sources of vitamin-A 

10) CRIMSON CLOVER

A great option for adding to your desserts. It has a mild, slightly nutty flavour. Crimson clover contains many different minerals such as potassium, calcium, magnesium, phosphorus and vitamins (e.g. A, B, C and E), and in addition it is very high in protein and chlorophyll.

11) ROSE RADISH

This variety has a wonderful delicate taste, not as strong as Daikon Radish. It really is beautiful with its soft rose coloured stems. ​It contains large amounts of protein, vitamin A, B1, B2, C, E and K. When compared to green radishes the pink variety contains 4 times more magnesium, is rich in iron, potassium, calcium, sodium, phosphorus and zinc. Vitamin C allows for better absorption of iron and calcium. The protein content is 30-35%.

12) BASIL 

Contain protein, vitamins E, A, K, B6, and C; as well as calcium, iron, zinc, magnesium, copper, phosphorous, and even potassium. That adds up to a lot of benefits: Anti-Inflammatory & anti-bacterial

13) WHEATGRASS

Wheatgrass is an excellent source of many different vitamins and minerals. It is especially high in vitamins A, C and E, as well as iron, magnesium, calcium and amino acids. Perfect as a shot (drink) in the mornings to start your day the 'right' way.

14) AMARANTH (NEW)

Micro Red Amaranth greens are very small in size, averaging 5-7cm in length and have a central stem connected to 2-4 elliptic shaped leaves. The smooth leaves are a blend of deep burgundy mixed with dark green hues and are attached to a thin stem that is a vibrant fuchsia. Micro Red Amaranth greens are crisp, tender, and have a mild and sweet, earthy flavour reminiscent of mustard but with much less spice and a delicate grassy finish. Red Amaranth greens contain potassium, vitamins C, K, and E, zinc, manganese, beta-carotene, calcium, iron, and copper.

We sell our micro-greens pre-cut and as live plants. Pre-cut microgreens are available in 30g and/or 75g boxes, and our live plants are in reuseable/ recycled punnets. The containers are made from fermented plant starch from corn, cassava, maize, sugarcane or sugar beet pulp. PLA is an all-natural, non-toxic, and theoretically food-safe material.

All our crops are propagated on site using high quality seeds. There is a full traceability to everything we produce, ensuring the best tasting, nutrient dense foods. If you are interested to sample our micro-greens then please get in touch by clicking the button below.
