What is CSA?
Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) takes many forms, with many model variations. The diversity of CSA reflects that CSA farms have grown from grassroots initiatives. As a result, individuals find their way to address the challenges of food production rather than following the set model. As a producer we are offering a share of production in return for a fixed subscription.

About Our Microgreen Membership Club

Joining our Microgreens Club means committing to at least one FULL 10-week season. We are an operating micro-farm, and our membership is structured based on a CSA (community supported agriculture) model in order to streamline our planning, planting, harvesting, and deliveries/collections for the season. This means committing to a season in advance to support us (the farmers) in all stages of the growing season.
The Club will be open for new enrolments once per season (Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter).
Memberships are payable in advance of the season starting. You can pay by one or two instalments.

Your first invoice will be emailed to you when you enrol/ during the enrolment period, and the second payment is due on week 5.
Your membership will continue from season to season unless you notify us via email that you wish to cancel. We require a minimum of 2 weeks notice before the end of your current season. Invoices are emailed out during the enrolment period. Memberships are non-refundable once the enrolment period has ended and the season is in process.

Our 2024 CSA membership program dates are here!

What's included

You have the choice of receiving 2 or 4 punnets of live microgreens plants bi-weekly. The dimensions of each punnet are 14.2 x 9.5 x 4.9 cm
The exact weight will vary slightly depending on the variety, but our punnets are packed full of tasty goodness. The benefit of receiving live plants rather than pre-cut is that you get to nurture your plants and cut as and when you want to eat them, ensuring the freshest possible microgreens on your plates every time. We will also give you a care sheet to help you with how best to store and handle your live plants.
You collect your microgreens bi-weekly directly from us here at the farm. Your collection day will be determined after enrolment closes, but usually it is on a Friday afternoon.

The Containers

Our live plants are grown in reuse-able/ recycled punnets. The punnets are made from fermented plant starch from corn, cassava, maize, sugarcane or sugar beet pulp. PLA is an all-natural, non-toxic, and theoretically food-safe material. They are lightweight but durable, you’ll just need to rinse them and return them to us on your next collection day.
A one-time €5.00 deposit will be required at the start of your membership. This is for the punnets and a black tray. At the end of membership, when all punnets and tray have been returned, the deposit will be refunded. The punnets/ trays will be tracked, and additional deposits will be charged as necessary.
